Capital-Image Wins a 2019 Media Award for its “Move with Kijiji” Campaign

The integrated communications agency Capital-Image is proud to have received a Grand Prix Média last night for its innovative campaign, Move with Kijiji, in the Best use of print media category (dailies, weeklies, magazines).

The campaign was intended to help consolidate Kijiji's authority as the undisputed leader in the second-hand economy. The choice of multipurpose advertising helped reinforce the importance of this activity, since according to the 2018 Kijiji Second-Hand Economy Index, relocation is the second most important reason for a consumer to become active in buying, selling or trading used goods.

Following the campaign, which represented Kijiji's only marketing effort in the province for this period, Kijiji notably observed a 15% increase in the number of page views of the Kijiji.ca site in Quebec in June and July 2018 compared to 2017.

Thanks to a kraft paper insert distributed in the Metro newspaper and which can be used as packaging for fragile items, the concept created and developed by Capital-Image aimed to complement a communications campaign launched by Kijiji in Quebec around the moving season. Being the most widely read print newspaper in the greater Montreal area, Metro offered the best platform to access the young and urban audiences Kijiji wanted to reach.
