Montréal (Québec), May 21, 2026 – The Capital-Image team is proud to announce that its President and co-General Manager, Silvie Letendre, PRP, APR, FCPRS, will receive the Canadian Public Relations Society’s (CPRS) prestigious Lamp of Service Award at their national annual conference in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, on May 25.
The CPRS Lamp of Service Award recognizes members whose leadership, commitment, and dedication have made an exceptional contribution to advancing the PR profession and enhancing the reputation of the Canadian Public Relations Society across Canada.
For more than a decade, Silvie Letendre has played a key role in promoting and advancing the public relations profession, particularly in Quebec. As a regional examiner for the CPRS Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) program since 2016, she has helped uphold the highest professional standards while mentoring and supporting the next generation of communications professionals.
Her commitment also extends to the national level through her contributions to the National Accreditation Council, the College of Fellows Selection Committee, and the CPRS Awards of Excellence jury. She also regularly shares her expertise as a guest lecturer at various universities, including Concordia University and the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Alongside her professional involvement, Silvie Letendre has continued to grow Capital-Image, which she has led since 2020, with a focus on innovation, excellence, and the evolution of integrated communications practices.
