Capital-Image is adding a new award of excellence to its shelf this year. This time, it is a Gold Quill Award of Merit in the media relations category for his client Kijiji. The award ceremony took place in Washington, D.C., on June 13 at the annual conference of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Every year, the IABC celebrates the most extraordinary campaigns and projects of its members from 70 countries.
The main objectives of the campaign designed and led by Capital-Image for three years now are to make Quebecers knowledgeable about of the importance of the second-hand economy and to help consolidate Kijiji's crucial leadership role in this fast-growing economic activity. From year one to year three, media and stakeholder interest in the campaign continued to grow. The results of the Capital-Image team exceeded all expectations.
“Capital-Image is very proud that its landmark work with Kijiji Canada has been recognized by an international jury,” said Silvie Letendre, Senior Vice President at Capital-Image. "This honour crowns the efforts of our team to design this innovative corporate leadership program. As we are already preparing the fourth edition of the Kijiji Second Hand Economy Index, we are pleased to continue to support Kijiji in their public relations efforts in Quebec. "
This prestigious new award is in addition to the five others awarded for the Kijiji Second-Hand Economy Index since 2015 by the Société des professionals en relations publique du Québec, by the Canadian Society of Public Relations and by the Association of Professionals in Communication and Marketing in collaboration with Infopresse.
