Montreal, QC, May 20, 2021 — Capital-Image is proud to have received two silver awards for its innovative campaigns at the 2021 SQPRP (Quebec Society of Public Relations Professionals) Awards of Excellence ceremony.
The awards were for the campaigns Né du St-Laurent: Lancement de Boréalie (Born of the St. Lawrence River: The Launch of Boréalie) and Baigneurs en bonnes mains avec Allstate Assurance (Swimmers in Good Hands with Allstate Insurance), both in the external public relations program category. The awards ceremony took place virtually, with many communication professionals attending.
“We are very happy to see that our skills and expertise are getting recognized by our peers,” said Silvie Letendre, ARP, FSCRP, President of Capital-Image. “Our team is committed to listening to our clients and their challenges to provide them with advice, as well as elaborate the right strategies to obtain results that exceed their expectations. These awards highlight Capital-Image’s efforts in achieving those goals.”
The story of Né du St-Laurent: Lancement de Boréalie is special: the two founders of the company, who also form a couple in their personal lives, both come from the health sector. After visiting the Lower St. Lawrence region a few years ago, they decided to dive headfirst into the world of natural cosmetics.
Intending to bring Boréalie to the market in 2020, Capital-Image guided its clients towards the launch of their first line of products, through the tides and storms of the pandemic,” said Alexandre Lainesse, Senior Account Director at Capital-Image.
“This PR campaign was an unequivocal success in every way, exceeding all initial objectives in terms of coverage, total impressions, the tone used in the messages and the number of interviews with one of the founders. The internal metrics allowed us to demonstrate the campaign’s impact on website visits, sales and growth of the Boréalie community, as well as contributing to the client’s strategy to acquire new points of sale.”
“In the context of the pandemic, during summer 2020, Quebecers spent more time at home and in their pools than ever. To remind them to supervise their children adequately while they were swimming, the insurance company Allstate provided advice on security during National Drowning Prevention Week, right in time for the construction holiday,” explained Miriam Lauzon, PRP, ARP, Senior Vice-President and Co-Executive Director at Capital-Image.
“The campaign had tremendous success by exceeding all of the main objectives, which were to increase the visibility of both Allstate’s brand and the topic of drowning prevention by at least 25 per cent, compared to last year’s similar campaign. Key performance indicators showed excellent results in both traditional and social media, generating 64.3 million media impressions in Québec, as well as in other French-speaking regions of Canada.”
Capital-Image wants to thank its clients and highlight how it has been a pleasure for every team member to collaborate with them. The solid business relationships and even friendships that have been built with them allow us to push the boundaries of communications constantly. We are fortunate to be surrounded by clients who are as passionate as us.
The Annual SQPRP Awards of Excellence Ceremony (Soirée annuelle des Prix d’excellence de la SQPRP) pays tribute to the best achievements in public relations and the strategic management of communications, making it an event not to be missed by PR professionals.
